📣Announcement! After the birth of my daughter I knew in my heart the right call was to simplify my work life. My goal is to be the most present I can for my family while also still seeing my beautiful clients.

Finding balance as a mom is hard- which I’m sure many of you can relate to! Having Jaydee and Ashley as employees has been an amazing experience but the work load is no longer aligned with how I want my work/life balance to look.

So when I come back to work this Summer I’ll be coming back as a solo artist and I can’t wait to see you all again! I plan to start by working only a couple days per week to start.

I am forever grateful to both Ashley and Jaydee for representing KALON so well and I’m excited to see them grow as artists out on their own. I will always cherish the time we spent together💕

Color boosts or retouches don’t need to be completed every year. I recommend our clients come back every 18-24 months, but everyone’s skin is different so I encourage you to go off of how they look - not time passed. If you’ve had your brows done before and they’re faded with a decent shape I can usually work over them. My main priority is keeping a natural look so if they’re too dark or an unbalanced shape I usually advise removal or letting them fade more. “Do I need shading?!” I hear this all the time...let me break it down. If you have little to no eyebrow hair you probably need shading. If you like a more filled in or defined look you probably need shading. If you have oily or mature skin you probably need shading. Sadly, microblading alone is not for everyone and doesn’t always heal pretty. Shading looks darker and more dramatic in the beginning but heals much softer than it looks immediately after. Shading is completely customizable and can appear as natural or dramatic as a client desires. If you do not take care choosing a reputable artist you could spend a lot more time and money trying to fix what’s been done. 4-does their portfolio reflect a good variation of client types?-ethnicities, brow styles, colors, etc.
